INSTANT KARMA'S IS GONNA GET YOUUUUU

NOW READING:

I've barely read 99 pages of this book and I'm already hooked! It's my first Stephen King novel and I'm reading the wikipedia information on how King was inspired to write it. Wow. Can someone tell me how you end up being the only guests at a hotel!? And what a coincidence that they gave them a room that was haunted! Out of all the empty rooms in the hotel, they decided to give STEPHEN KING a haunted one. Now that's ridiculous! I thought all of this came from his imagination, but no, there is a whole real life story behind it! Oh King, you are just calling in all the supernatural to you! I want some of that too!

Inspiration: ALDO

I have begun collecting fashion catalogs from stores.  @_@ My obsession over clothes and fashion is getting a bit ridiculous. Still, I don't spend hundreds on just a pair of pants or a pair of shoes! I am becoming a bit used to spending just 90¢ on a pair of pants! Thrift Stores are amazing. Especially when you want to experiment with new clothing, I think thrift stores are the place to begin. (Just in case you don't like it!) When you decide it's the right fashion path for you, then you can buy yourself a more modern and probably better version of what you bought used.

Inspiration:

My (bootleg) Version

jeje you can tell I'm no model :P
I'll get used to the camera as time passes and I become more involved in the blog!

Shirt: Forever 21
Pants: Thrifted (90¢!!!)
Shoes: Sears
Belt: Wal-mart  =O

Both Pants were 90¢ at the thrift store! I like the blue ones better :)

And some Liz Claiborne Shorts I found for $1.80

Purse I bought a Long Time Ago for $3

And some clip on earrings I decided looked cuter on my hair
(I got them for free b/c the lady at the thrift store said it had missing gems and I was already buying 20 other pairs of earrings :D )

TILL NEXT TIME!

St. Vincent

St. Vincent is one of my all time favorite singers. She makes me feel so mellow and calm.

She also inspires me to write in my diary :)

For those who can't read backwards, that reads August 2, 2010 (WEBCAM)
AND there is no way you guys are reading my personal life story backwards!

Also, I've been working and sleeping so much lately that I haven't been able to put together a decent outfit! Booo! I haven't been able to thrift for valuables either. Also I'm about to leave for Mexico for 2 whole weeks in 3 DAYS so I've been very very busy!

Mom's Skirt

I found this skirt among my mother's things. This is the only skirt she had left from when she was young. I fell in love with it! It's a bit tight from the waist and a bit too big from the bottom. But I love the print on it! (And yesss I look awkward on this pic b/c my mom took it! je je)

Broach: Thrifted
Black Tank Top: Target
Skirt: Mom's Closet
Shoes : Charlotte Rousse
Rings : Forever 21

My sister likes to joke around that it looks like a nipple, but I love this broach.

I have to admit I feel a bit narcissistic taking pics of me and talking about it online! But I'll get used to it, I guess! :)

Down Town Screaming

Fashion is not only what you see in magazines, but what you dare to ware.
A teenage girl may love all the fashion magazines and pictures, but she may not be brave enough to wear the outfit to school or outside. Even if she paid $40 for that shirt, she may never even wear it because it is just too much for her to handle; the attention is something she isn't used to.
Here we, Crystal and I, will show you how looking fashionable doesn't necessarily mean out of the world outfits. They can be your regular shirt and jeans. Depending on how you wear them and how you act in them is what makes them fashionable or not.

So, meet the writers!

Crystal

Shirt: Forever 21?
Jeans: Express?
Shoes: Aldo
Bag: Thrifted
Earrings: Thrifted

Crystal is a very stylish latina! Her outfits range from elegant, to super sexy, to real cute yet casual. This is her outfit to a day at the park and an early walk to downtown. (don't I sound like the narrators from a beauty pageant? :D) I think I may raid her facebook for more pictures of her and hey stylish clothes!

ME (Isamar a.k.a. Ichi)

Shirt: Charlotte Rousse
Shorts: Sears
Purse: Thrifted
Jewelry: Thrifted (except the bracelet from Target)
Shoes: Payless

My closet has to be a mixture of indie, vintage, and some elegance. Vintage jewelry is my all time favorite. I have spent 100's of dollars in it (which is not smart at all)!

Our shoes!!! Gladiator Sandals and Gold Sandals w/ a small wedge!

Now here is a funny video of us yelling penis at the park. We of course got the idea from the movie (500) days of summer. Blame movies for our indecency!
